I hate the waste of disposable ones so I don't use those. Washing a few nursing pads is no big deal. I have organic cotton ones and some bamboo fleece ones and they are really soft, but my favorite are my merino wool pads! Wool is a great natural fiber for pulling moisture away from your skin.

May 19, 2009·I just traced around the pad. I used an old towel and some flannel I already had on hand. I just surged around the edges. They really aren't gross. I just rinse them and put them in a bucket with peroxide until wash time. I haven't had any problems with leaking and I change them about the same that I would a disposable pad.
